Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I must be crazy but as many of you may already know I have agreed to run the Birmingham Half marathon with a group of people I work with, mostly physios so at least Im in good company for the injuries I seem to be aquiring already.

Although the only other time I have run this distance was when I was quite a few years younger, quite a few pounds lighter and considerably fitter, my goal is still to beat my last time.

With a bit of inspiration from watching all our olympic athletes and some gentle persuation I have been dragged away from baking cupcakes and back into my running shoes, but it is a great opportunty for me to rasie some money for charity.

Physio1st are raising money for Acorns childrens hospice which is a really good cause so it would be brilliant if we could raise lots of money to help them with their fantastic work caring for children young people and their families, so please give as generously as you can so we can smash our target amount.
