I am running the Great North Run on the 11th September 2016. It will be the third time I've run GNR and the second time on behalf of BPA!

I have chosen to run for the British Porphyria Association (BPA) as my good friend Sue (who suffers regularly with acute intermittent porphyria) works for this small charity which works hard to support people living across the whole of the UK and Ireland with the eight different porphyrias. The BPA charity holds various events across the UK to offer patients and their family’s information and support. They work closely with expert doctors to publish various newsletters, information leaflets and other printed materials for patients and GPs.
