Event: Springer Rescue for Scotland - Virtually Coast to Coast - Pedometer Challenge, on 30 August 2010
We rescue and rehome Springer Spaniels to improve the lives of Scottish Springers

Story

Hello All

As a way of raising much needed funds to continue supporting the work of Springer Rescue for Scotland  I am walking, along with 19 other Springer Rescue for Scotland volunteers, the equivalent length of the Scottish Coastline. That's a total of 7,375 miles!  We aim to do this over a 10 week period starting on 28th June, and we would like to raise £15,000 to neuter/spay every dog in our care.

It would probably have been quicker to strap the pedometers to the dogs, but am sure they will enjoy clocking up the miles too.

I have been volunteering with SRS since early 2009 and I am the area coordinator for Fife, Clackmannanshire & Kinross. You can find out more about Springer Rescue for Scotland at http://www.springerrescuescotland.org/ and you will be able to follow our progress from this webiste too.

It would be fantastic if you would consider sponsoring my efforts.

Many thanks, Emma x
