Story

George will be 10 on the 8th June and for his birthday this year he would love to raise some money for Assistance Dogs NI. George has autism, ADHD and has been suffering with severe social anxiety. He has been working closely with Joy, the therapy dog. She has become George's best friend. Someone who he can talk to, share his worries and fears with without judgement. She understands George and helps him to stay calm and to be able to leave the house when he finds it extremely difficult.  She helps him to interact with his siblings and other family members and to be able to go to school when he is feeling severely anxious.

George would love to raise this money to help other children like himself be able to benefit from the amazing work of Assistance Dogs NI.

During these testing times, dealing with COVID-19 can be difficult for some. That is when our ADNI therapy dogs become even more vital in peoples lives.
