Thanks for taking the time to visit my just giving page. With 15 weeks to go to the London Marathon 2011, I have reached 12.5 miles in my training and now I’m pretty sure I’m teetering on the edge of a hip injury! However, I’m a firm believer in a positive attitude and my mantra until the big day is “I am not injured, I am not sick”. Failing that, I’m also a firm believer in the power of <a title="Berocca" href="http://www.berocca.co.uk/">Berocca</a>!  I have always loved running but this is my first marathon- a huge personal challenge, a chance for me to push myself harder physically and mentally then I ever have before.  Even if I have to hobble round that course, then I will!  Because really, it’s nothing.  What’s a day out of my otherwise very charmed life? To me, it feels like the least I can do to help raise money for charity.  I would like to thank everyone who has helped me with my training and supported me this far.  Your advise and tips have been invaluable.   To everyone, friends and family near and far, please dig deep and make a donation  to help me raise funds for my chosen charity Oxfam South Africa. In South Africa, Oxfam's focus is on people affected by HIV and AIDS and gender equality. South Africa has been particularly badly affected by the HIV and AIDS pandemic.  Most people who die from the disease are cut down in the prime of their lives. Women are disproportionately affected.  Oxfam works to raise awareness of ways of preventing HIV and AIDS and provide support to those living with HIV. At a national level, Oxfam SA are lobbying for better health services to deal with the pandemic more effectively.  Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
