For those that don't know me I am Emma, and I will be taking part in Kaylees Walk For Life on the 14th October 2017.

This event marks the 30th anniversary of my dear friend Kaylee's heart transplant operation. Kaylee was the first successful paediatric heart transplant recipient and her surgery, prompted the beginning of the paediatric cardiothoracic transplant programme at The Freeman Hospital.

We are on a mission to raise money for the Children's Heart Unit Fund  (CHUF), a charity that provides funding for medical equipment, staff, toys for the ward and support for families of children receiving treatment on the heart unit at The Freeman hospital. 

I would very much appreciate it if  you could sponsor me for this event. Any donation big or small would help the children and families currently receiving treatment on the heart unit. 

And to Kaylee.....you an inspiration to all and one of the bestest friends a girl could wish for. I love you so much and cant wait to celebrate your special anniversary with you. Thinking of your donor and their family too for giving you life. Congratulations gorgeous girl!!
