I have been selected to take part in the DLA Machu Picchu Trek this October with a number of my international DLA Piper colleagues.

The purpose is to raise funds for UNICEF, the world's leading organisation who helps and works for children in danger.

I would be grateful if you could support my fundraising efforts for UNICEF to help them and contribute to offer them a better future. UNICEF implements programs around the world so that children can go to school, avoid child marriage, and be safer in their communities.

UNICEF works with partners to ensure every child is protected from violence, exploitation and abuse. They focus on reaching the most vulnerable children.

Funds raised by DLA Piper go to UNICEF’s Child Protection work globally. This is known as "thematic funding". This funding is incredibly valuable to UNICEF as it allows them the flexibility to allocate funds to those countries and child protection issues that need it the
most.

In 2017, through a combination of corporate donations and employee fundraising, DLA Piper contributed around £200,000 to UNICEF’s
Child Protection work globally. This helped UNICEF continue its vital work so that children can: go to school instead of work, avoid child marriage, and be safe in their communities.
