Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.

As some of you may already know, in April I am set to tackle an 11 day trek to Everest base camp.  My adventures will begin in the Nepalese capital of Kathmandu from where I will face my first hurdle of making it in one piece to the mountain landing strip of Lukla (harder than you might imagine - see video!).  From here I will take on the forces of nature and attempt to make my way up, up, up to Everest's south base camp at c.5,500m.

I will be using this expedition as an opportunity to raise money for a worthy cause and one that is of particular importance to me, Children of the Andes (COTA), a UK charity dedicated to supporting Colombia's most disadvantaged children by working with local NGOs.

My fabulous employer, Barclays Capital, have also agreed to match the first £750 that I raise, so please support me on this challenge by digging deep and making a donation.
