Mick & Tom have pledged to climb the summit of Everest (8,840m) from the southern Base Camp in Nepal (5,360m) on Friday 15th October 2010. 

However to minimise the overhead costs associated with getting to Nepal Mick & Tom will replicate this climb of 3,480m, by climbing the eastern face of Glastonbury Tor 70 times, and in a bid to make the challenge as realistic as possible they will simulate the lack of oxygen by doing minimal training for this event!
