Hello everyone, thank you for visiting our donations page!

Please sponsor us for our walk over the South Downs on May 15th.  20K is a very long way and I'm not sure if we will make it alive.  We are hoping there are refreshments en route (a.k.a. the pub) in case we need some urgent revival.  In reality, we’ll probably be followed all the way by St John’s ambulance and their oxygen tanks! Apparently we have to wear really ugly hiking boots and surely that is worth some money in itself? 

We are walking in aid of Community Links, a charity based in east London, which runs a wide range of community services and projects for all ages. They are a fantastic bunch, and really change people's lives.  58% of children in Newham live under the poverty line, and simply don't have the opportunity to do the things we take for granted.  This charity empowers the underprivileged with opportunities to build their own ladders out of poverty and towards a brighter future.

Please dig deep, even a few quid will give us that extra boost we need to survive the rough terrain of West Sussex, and we promise that all proceeds will go to charity and NOT towards our drinking fund!

We have toyed with the idea of doing the race in fancy dress, so any suggestions are welcome....!
