*Step Up for Autism Awareness*

We deliberated postponing the 10,000 steps a day challenge due to limited outdoor space & time as many of us are now homeschooling however upon reflection the *challenge* children with Autism are facing during this time of uncertainty is far greater then any of us will ever experience.

My 5 year old daughter who has a diagnosis of autism & global development delay does not understand social distancing. No visual aid or sign language can help her understand why she last saw her grandad with a face mask & he was unable to greet her with a hug. Her already little confused world has overnight, with no preparation been turned upside down. The anxiety of change, no school and cancellations of support & therapies is leading her to have meltdowns which is having a significant impact on her ability to cope day to day.

Therefore with your support & donations we will be spending the next 7 days raising awareness about Autism as well as much needed funds for FOBE.
