Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Six months ago, without the kids knowing, we signed up both families for a 20k sponsored walk across the South Downs.  The beauty of this event is that there is no sponsorship requirement.  However, we thought it would be fitting to raise money for the two charities designated by the Reids in Luke Reid's memory.  Luke was a school friend of our sons Jake and Charlie who tragically lost his life in a car accident recently.  Those charities are The Brittle Bone Society and Great Ormond Street.

The walk will take place on Saturday 15th May.  So whilst we are dusting down our walking boots we would like you to please dig deep and donate now!

About the charity

We fundraise to enhance Great Ormond Street Hospital’s ability to transform the health and wellbeing of children and young people. Donations help to fund advanced medical equipment, child and family support services, pioneering research and rebuilding and refurbishment.
