Story
Hi Everybody,
Matt Haigh and Patrick Perret-Green have, unfortunately, taken the term 'City Fat Cats' too literally. Sadly nobody told us is wasn't a mandatory part of the job description. The days of 34" waistlines are long behind us while that treasured pair of jeans lies hidden in the back of the wardrobe. But no more! The bulge must go.
So please support us in our very own battle of the bulge from the start of next year. The aim is to see how much weight we can lose by the end of March. At the start of January we will have an official weigh-in. (Cameras are forbidden for the sake of public decency). You can sponsor one or both of us by the kilo (grams will be included) or just give a one off donation. At the end we will both donate £50 a kilo for what we have lost.
Hopefully by the end of it all we will not only have hopefully got ourselves down to what should be a healthy BMI but also have raised a disgustingly large amount of money for Help for Heroes.
The message of the charity is simple: They are strictly non political and non critical; They simply want to help. They believe that anyone who volunteers to serve in time of war, knowing that they may risk all, is a hero. These are ordinary people doing extraordinary things and some of them are living with the consequences of their service for life. We may not be able to prevent our soldiers from being wounded, but together we can help them get better.
