Sleep easy started in 2010, this was around the years I was someone received a roof over my head at the Y as some of you might already know... Sleep Easy is tough, I took part a few years back but it's a real eye opener and you're well looked after... It's a scratch on the surface compared to real homelessness taking place in Essex now, let alone the UK. 

They've seen over 7,000 people sleep rough across the UK in order to raise over £1.5 million for local young people facing homelessness.

YMCA Essex will take part in YMCA Sleep Easy 2024 – a hybrid fundraising event where we ask participants to come & sleep rough with us on March 8th 2024.
