Now that the dust has settled after that marathon thing in London (:-}), I am contacting you with regard to a far more sedate affair: a 10-mile Starlit Stroll around Cambridge... for women only! Aware that you may have already contributed lots to the more active and sportingly ambitious of your friends, relatives and acquaintances, I have set myself the modest target of £500.

The money I raise in sponsorship will go towards the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity http://www.arhc.org.uk/ which works in partnership with the NHS to support patients, their families, staff and volunteers at Arthur Rank House in Cambridge. This year the Charity must raise over £1 million to meet its financial commitments at the Hospice. Any help you can give, however small, to assist me in meeting my target for this very worthy cause will be very much appreciated.
