We're taking part in the NACC Walk for Crohn's on May 8th to raise money for the National Association for Colitis and Crohn's disease. Crohn's disease is an autoimmune, inflammatory disease of the intestines with a wide variety of symptoms for which there is currently no cure.

I, Fiona, have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease for 2 years, during which times I've had my ups and downs with the disease, including courses of steroids, numerous hospital visits and surgery. Alicia and my mom, Jane, have both been my fantastic support network through it all!  The medications currently available have progressed tremendously in the past 10 years, but they still have a way to go.  Therefore, we're raising money to help fund research to move this forward so that living with the disease will get easier.

We'd really appreciate any amount of donation for this cause that's not only close to my heart but a big part of my life.
