Story
Last week disastrously, I was a victim of a slick and organised robbery, and had K50 000 of our Nsobe Community School’s money stolen off me.
I had received funding in pounds from our school's donors (who are currently visiting our project) to set up solar equipment for an audio visual room to help boost their spoken English skills, and stimulate exposure to the wider world. I converted the money at the bank and went directly to pay at the solar supplier here in Ndola, where I was followed and robbed. Thankfully I was not harmed, but the funds meant for the development and education of the 360 vulnerable children at our remote rural school have now gone. The police are on the case, but realistically there is little hope of recovering the money.
The teaching staff, children of Nsobe Community School, Zambia, and our supporting Charity, Teacher Aid, would greatly appreciate any assistance you are able to give in helping us to recollect the stolen funds.
