As most of you are aware Neil loved the live music scene.  We though it fitting to open up this fundraising page in his memory as many of you were keen to make a donation.

This charity is one recommended by some of his closest friends, and one which I believe Neil would have been proud to represent.  With these now available in South Wales.

For many people with a learning disability, paid support ends at 10pm, which makes a night out almost impossible, and 70% of adults with a learning disability say they would like to get out more in the evenings.Our Gig Buddies project matches members with a learning disability to like minded volunteers with a shared passion and views of a lifelong friendship.We also have partnerships with multiple venues to advise and support them to ensure they feel comfortable and knowledgeable in welcoming people with a learning disability.So far, we have helped more than 30 pairings enjoy more independence, have new experiences and make lifelong friendships. Donate now to help us continue to create friendships powered by shared interests and grow our services to reach more people and venues looking for a more active social life.
