You may be wondering why I am asking for your donation after I have completed a marathon?

Well in short, due to a knee injury, it was looking very unlikely that I was able to go through with the race. It was only less than one month ago before I was given the "ok" to run.  Because of this, I felt that it would be unfair to try and raise money for my chosen charity,  Action for Children, if I was not able to see my part of the bargin through.

I'm happy to say however that on Monday (Oct 25) I completed the Dublin City Marathon and really very pleased that I could do it.  I would now like to try and raise money for this great charity, so it would be great if you could spare any amount and donate for Action for Children - as you all know every little helps.
