We are joining the 180 Challenge!

First Place is raising £10,000 to build three Kindergartens in the community of Ratanakiri Province of Northern Cambodia. 

Education helps children and gives them the opportunity to create their own brighter and more secure futures. However, for children like Amir who lives in the foothills of the Himalayas, Nepal, the opportunity to get the education he needs to escape the poverty cycle feels like an impossible fairy tale. 

At just 6 years old, Amir's only chance to go to school means walking 180 minutes every day to and from school. 

Children and staff at our three nurseries in Radlett, Bushey, and Beaconsfield are joining the 180 Challenge to try and raise the last part of our £10,000 target to build the three kindergartens. Each nursery has chosen a different 180 Challenge and we will let you know how they get on.

Amazingly, for every £1 donation you give to UWS before the 29th of July 2021, the UK government will match your donation by giving another £1. Your donation and support will not only be doubled but it will also help to transform the lives of thousands of children and communities who are even more vulnerable today than they were prior to the pandemic.
