Story
The Five Palaces Walk will be held on Saturday, 22 May, starting at Hampton Court Palace and walking to the Tower of London via Kew Palace, Kensington Palace and the Banqueting House. The walk will be carried out by staff and volunteers working at Historic Royal Palaces, plus friends and family.
We'll be raising money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign, a charity which supports the work of The Royal Marsden, helping the hospital to stay at the leading edge of cancer treatment, research and care.
The route is mainly along the River Thames and provides participants (and their supporters) with a wonderful opportunity to see how the river and London's Parks link our magnificent palaces. The total distance is approximately 22 miles. For any walkers who would prefer to carry out a shorter walk, we will also be offering the option to walk four palaces (from Kew to the Tower, a distance of 11 miles).
