On the 23rd June 2010 Douglas Halliday, Alex Isaac, Bobby Horton and Dave Ramsden were tragically taken from us whilst serving in Afghanistan
We share our grief and pain at the loss of these heroic men and many more who have lost their lives in action
At this moment in time there are men and women fighting for me, you and people all over the world
They give the ultimate sacrifice!

sis jusuis nec timeas – be brave and fear not
Dougie was deeply loved by all of his family and friends for the love and laughter that he brought into their lives. We are all extremely privileged to have shared his short life.
He was just 20 years old from Rock Ferry, Wirral and serving in his first tour of Afghanistan under the Merican 1 Regiment
We remember Dougie for his charm, the special times together and his humour. He will never be forgotten.
At this sad time we also send our condolences to the families of his comrades who also gave their lives so that we may live in freedom.
Please support our troops!!
He did us all proud and lived by the family motto; Sis Justus nec timeas - be just and fear not.
We love you Doug, you will live on forever through us xxxx
