Just a little bit about the marathon. I've done it a few times before, and people say to me "You'll be OK, you've done it before, you know what to expect". That's true, but I know that I will be saying to myself on the day "Why am I doing this again?". I guess one of the main reasons is that I've been given a place in the marathon through the ballot, and many people would love to have that opportunity. I feel lucky to have the place, as so many people are turned down year after year because it is so popular.

It's a good opportunity for me to raise money for a charity which I can choose myself, so I've chosen World Child Cancer which you can read about by using the link on this page.

Thank you for being so generous - I have a real incentive to go out there and do it! It will be tough, but I'm looking forward to the finishing line!
