After the birth of our third beautiful baby boy Ezra, It came as a bit of a shock when I was diagnosed with cancer. Let alone one i’d never heard of (Hodgkin Lymphoma). I am so lucky to have an amazing prognosis. I’ll be undergoing intense Chemotherapy for 6 months. But I am happy to say i’m 3 rounds in & doing great. I know i’m 100% going to be ok 💪🏼💕

There will no doubt be a few rubbish months ahead, with some highs & lows. But at the end of it all, I am positive everything is going to be fine.

By far the hardest part of my diagnosis, has been how it has affected the people I love. Seeing the fear & worry in their eyes breaks my heart. Especially my eldest 11 year old son Isaac, who has really struggled with the news 💔
As a way of turning a rubbish situation, into a positive one. Isaac & I will be ‘braving the shave’ together. As a way of raising awareness of this horrible disease. And also to fundraise on behalf of this fabulous charity ‘Mummy’s Star’.

Mummy's Star is the only charity in the UK and Ireland dedicated to supporting pregnancy through cancer and beyond. Your donation means that women diagnosed with any cancer during pregnancy or within a year of a birth are able to reach Mummy's Star and the specialised support they offer. They help families to meet others in a similar position, offer small grants to relieve some financial burden, give support to partners and the wider family, promote awareness and support research.

Isaac wanted to support me in doing this, so I didn’t feel alone bless him ❤️
All on his own, Isaac has cleverly designed a poster for our fundraiser & written a news letter to accompany it. Which I will post very soon. Being involved has given Isaac such a boost & really helped him to take his mind off his worries. He gets to take control & make a difference, at a time when we all feel a bit helpless really.
