Success!  Freefalling on a beautifully clear day was literally breathtaking (so didn't even scream in the end!) Fabulous views sailing down under a canopy I was most relieved to see and, yes, a soft landing too!  What a fantastic experience and for a fantastic cause - read more below!  Thanks so much for your support : )

Why a mad, scream-filled tandem skydive?  Well, as a CMS Mission Partner working with children in Thailand for the last 10 years, I've had the the privilege of seeing lives transformed as we show Christ's love in very practical ways - like providing high-quality childcare for local communities.

This jump was for people like Om - a teacher we trained through our childcare programme, who told me how working at one of our centres had finally made her feel she was 'a person who had worth'.

And for children like Tonpalm, Figo, Jackie and Ice - children with special needs who had been turned away from many other childcare centres, but who flourished as we welcomed and nurtured them.

I was also jumping for 3 fantastic teams of Thai colleagues in Bangkok, Sawang Daendin and Banchang - folk who trained with us and are now leading this on-going work.

I'm so grateful for the support others generously gave to make it possible for me to be involved in this kind of work.  Doing this jump is one way for me to say thank you and to help support others - both now and in the future!

I've given just a few examples of transformation from only one part of the world, but as a Community of Mission Service spanning the globe, CMS is helping to make stories like these a reality time and again.
