Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. As you may be aware, my Mum who had breast cancer and had undergone a mastectomy last summer, was doing really well with her chemotherapy when she died suddenly from a heart attack in December. Having been active with cancer research and care, and given her love of her native Wales and Daffodils (the national flower), this seemed like the perfect event for me to venture into the world of running! While I know 10km is nothing close to a Marathon, you probably know that I am no runner nor have I ever done anything close to this before so, as a first-timer, this will certainly feel like a Marathon! Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Marie Curie Cancer Care will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support, it is massively appreciated. Gareth
