Story
As many friends and family will know, my brother Lee and I have been raising for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) for a number of years, starting with our epic John o'Groats to Land's End Cycle Ride back in 2006.
This was long before my son Noah was born and diagnosed with congenital heart disease - a Ventricular Septal Defect (or 'hole in the heart' as it is better known!).
Noah underwent Open Heart surgery at GOSH to repair the VSD, which was an amazing success. The treatment and care Noah received was amazing, and they also looked after my wife and I during his stay in hospital, allowing us a place to stay close by and other amenities for when he was in hospital. I will always be in their debt, hence my continuing quest to raise funds for them.
We had an initial target of £15,000, but have beaten that and the sum raised currently stands at £18, 205.
My next quest is the Cambridge Half Marathon in February 2016 and I am targeting £795 to break the £19,000 barrier!
Please support my cause!
