Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most of you are aware im not usually the fitness type but have recently tried to sort that out by completing a half marathon in London in September and have another half marathon planned in Marlow on the 21st March. 

After the September race I was asked by a number of people whether I will be rasing money for charity the next time round and have decided that I will be and will be supporting a global childrens charity called Plan International.

Plan International helps disadvantaged children who live in poverty around the world. This is directly linked to the Channel 4 series I saw recently about the appaling conditions that a large number of children in cities such as Mumbai have to live in. There is a link on the Just Giving webpage to find out more about the work Plan International do. 

As part of the funds raised for the actual race I have also particpated in a media 'Fat Club' which after starving myself and running around Hyde Park in the snow I actually won.  The £400 already donated by the generous members of the Fat Club is a great start so to those people thank you very much.

Please donate as much or as little as you feel you can afford and I will let you all know when the final amount is counted exactly how your donations have helped.

I am aiming for 2 hours this time which will be 25 mins better than last, so a tough task for a fatty like me.
