This year’s ride is for my chosen charities:
Destination Florida, Christies and Muscular Dystrophy all great causes that I am supporting.
The challenge comprises 6 arduous days in the saddle cycling around Rajasthan, The Land of The Kings. With an average daytime temperature of 30C we will be attempting to cover 400km through the best hill and deserts landscapes Rajasthan can offer. Starting at Singhana 4 /12hrs drive west of New Delhi and finishing 400 gruelling kilometres later at Pachewar. We will experience various kinds of roads, dirt paths sand paths and anything else India can hit us with. It’s not just the days riding that will task the intrepid team but also where we will be sleeping! Untouched ancient forts and camping in the middle of a vast salt lake 20 mile wide are just two night’s accommodation which will be out of the norm.
