In October this year I will be representing GirlGuiding UK on a Guiding Overseas Linked with Development (GOLD) project in Egypt.  The GOLD project will last for just over three weeks and will be based on employment skills for young women with the aim of improving their chances of employment in a predominately male environment.  Our team of six will be delivering training workshops on communication skills, team building, leadership,marketing and learning/developing English.

As one of my fundraising activities, my friend Becky Manning and I will be taking part in the British 10km London Run on Sunday 11th July.  Not only do I have to get up early on a Sunday morning (!!) but running isn't really my thing so please do support me in what is undoubtedly the most exercise I have ever done and a therefore a real challenge for me!
