Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, raising money for Get Kids Going.

First, it is still not too late to donate to this wonderful cause and thanks a million for your kind support to all those that have contributed so far ! As many of you have commented, Get Kids Going is a great charity that is and will continue to do great things for the children it so wonderfully supports ! PLEASE CONTINUE TO DONATE !!!

Well, concerning the 2010 London Marathon itself, I am very pleased and very proud to say I completed the course ! I can also inform those that had a "time weighted sponsorship", that I managed to get around in 3 hours 54 minutes. The last 400 metres were, needless to say, the longest 400 metres of my life, but the feeling of pain was replaced with the euphoria that followed getting over that line...

Walking proved a struggle the day after the marathon itself, the legs being very dysfunctional, but atleast I have largely removed references to toe nails for the squeamish (I can inform that I have even less now...but hey, it has to be worth it for the children that we are supporting and that is all that ultimately matters....).

Just to remind you all, O2e (Ordinaray to Extraordinary) and Get Kids Going is an extraordinary charity, aiming to make a difference to the lives of serious and terminally ill children whilst encouraging and supporting all ages to embrace sport and adventure, get out of their comfort zone and live life to the full...In short this is a wonderful charity that can bring great joy to the lives of youngsters.
