The Thames Bridges Bike Ride is over 13 bridges and covers some 30miles. We are cycling to fight the UK's 3rd Biggest Killer - Stroke.

After extensive training (the bike arrived 2mths late in April!) and such family encouragement as "you don't look as stupid as I expected you to in lycra" I hope to complete the course in time to get to The White Horse in Hedgerley for my 1pm pint, all chums welcome, after application of industrial quantities of SudaCream (the bike ride is the weekend after a week on business in Hyderabad)
