I have just returned from my mountain climbing in County Kerry and have a tremendous feeling of self achievement. Myself and 9 others climbed the highest mountain in Ireland over a period of 7 hours. It took me completely out of my comfort zone despite being physically fit and active all my life there were moments when I felt it was going to be impossible but you draw on the cause you are doing it for.  With my wife's diagnosis of breast cancer and the subsequent operations she had on her path to recovery it was always going to make sure I had the determination to complete the task.  The Lister Hospital had done a superb job for my wife and made me realise what a great service the NHS is so there was no way I as going to let them down.
