Once again I have foolishly agreed to 'run' a marathon and Andrea will be attempting her first - AND LAST ! So on the 1st Sunday in November Andrea and I will be huffing and puffing our way 26.2 miles round New York, spurred on by the fact that when we cross the line we'll have hopefully raised money for Get Kids Going. They are one of the only charities in the UK devoted to helping physically disabled children experience all of the benefits that involvement in sport brings.

I really hope you can see your way to providing some sponsorship. I don't mind whether the motives are altruism or just amusement at the prospect of us doing a marathon - everything will help!
