On Friday 22nd January 2010 I will be spending a night sleeping out rough with the Arch annual sleepout.

What is the Sponsored Sleepout?

The Sponsored Sleepout will raise awareness of local homelessness as well as raise money for local charity Arch’s work with local homeless and disadvantaged people.

The idea is that participants are sponsored to experience some of the difficulties of “sleeping rough” for one night.

When will it take place?

, . Registration for the event will take place from .

This date has been chosen to link in with Homelessness Sunday at the end of January, which is acknowledged by churches of all denominations. Following the Christmas festivities, it is also an appropriate time to reflect on those who have been shut out in the cold during the celebrations.

Please sponsor me and make it worth my while!

Thanks everyone. x
