Fundraising for Epilepsy Action
Story
Hi All
Thanks for visiting my page. Whilst being terrible at running growing facial hair is something that comes naturally to me..so what better way than to take part in "Movember" and not shave for one month.
I've haven't done much for charity in a long time and decided I should tie in doing "Movember" for a worth while cause. The British Epilepsy Association is something very close to me and my family. My Dad was a member and suffered from this before he passed away, helping to run the Stoke-on-Trent branch for over 10 years and was Chairman for 5 of those years. Mum is now the tresurer and been a member since 2008.
It’s a very good cause and Epilepsy Action raises the awareness and understanding of Epilepsy and its complexity and helps fight against the stigma attached to this condition.
I haven't set myself a target to raise, more so just keen to get involved. I'm a little concerned how I'll look particularly around work...but its it's for a good cause and should actually be a laugh! I'll post some photo's throughout the month so you can see my progress.
I know there's many charity events happening throughout the year, so apoligise if your getting bombared. If you wish to donate thank you...Remember everything helps.
