The December Daily Dash is a challenge to run, walk or jog 5KM each day (yes, even Christmas Day) in December. It was set up by local runners Jackie & Mark Smith in 2015 after Jackie lost both parents to cancer in the space of 18 months. The dash aims to raise much needed funds for the great work that Sue Ryder hospices - who cared for Jackie’s dad in the last few months of his life - do for those with incurable illness and their families.

I'm taking part in this event for the second time.
