Event: 2009 GRIM Challenge, on 5 December 2009
We deliver sport for social change projects to increase life chances of young people

Story

Dear Friends,

I am tackling a truely GRIM Challenge on Saturday 5th December which will involve covering 8 miles of wet, muddy and hilly terrain in as quick a time as possible. The 8 mile route will require wading through water filled ravines, running over puddle-strewn paths and crawling under camouflage netting. Clearly the only reason I would do such a thing is in support of good causes and I will be supporting the Saracens Sport Foundation and Muscle Warriors.

The Saracens Sport Foundation aims to inspire communities and change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people through the power of sport. You know what a huge impact sport has had on my own life so this is now a life long mission for me, not just a job.

Muscle Warriors  realise unforgettable experiences for children and young people in the UK with muscular dystrophy … helping them to live a dream or fulfil a cherished ambition. This is a very well run and passionate charity doing great work.

I hope you are able to provide some support, however small or large, for these two great causes and motivate me to get around in a respectable time!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Gordon
