I am raising money for victim support largely in memory of my mother who died in December 2009. My mum was in an abusive relationship before she met my father, as was Edisons mum before we met, knowing what they went through and realising how much help victim support could have been is a huge factor in what i'm trying to do.
Another reason for choosing victim support is that my sister works for them a fact which I am and my mother was very proud of.
Finally with the birth of my son Edison I realised that one day the question what did you do when you were younger dad would come up, I don't want the answer to be went to the pub and watched football son.
