I've set up this site as a convenient way to channel donations in memory of Gordon to Trinity Hospice.  There are few hoops to jump through in order to use the site.  I don't think they are onerous.  JustGiving says:

"Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. "

This is not 'the' way to donate.  You may already have a preferred means.  No one (except Trinity Hospice) is counting.
