I'm running the Great Manchester 10K for the first time to raise money for the University of Manchester's Undergraduate Access Scholarships. Run by the Division of Development and Alumni Relations (where I used to work!) and part of the University of Manchester's Social Responsibility strand, Undergraduate Access Scholarships give a life-changing opportunity to talented students from low-income families where neither parent has previously been to university.

These scholarships make a real difference, not only providing financial support but also academic, pastoral and social support - to enable these young people to thrive and fulfil their potential.

I'll be sharing stories on this page from current and previous scholarship recipients to illustrate how much of a difference your donation will make.
