Thanks for having a gander at my page.

As you would have worked out, I'm running this year's London Marathon, an idea hatched between myself and my friend Tim during the classic work lull, you know, when your glance is almost permanently fixed to the bottom right of your screen. 

"What shall we do, what shall we do? Of course! Let's commit to running 26.2 miles for Charity." Done.

At the time of my decision, I failed to acknowledge that I certainly was no runner, and my 1st few ventures on the road were more walk than run I assure you. However, through a bit of motivation from my housemates and the realisation that I just have to do it, I am now on track training wise, but there is still a lot of work to be put in. You'd be pleased to know that as I put the hours in, my stamina is growing, as well as my chafing.

Choosing a charity was fairly easy for me. Through my job, I came across a charity called Steps that support children and adults affected by lower limb conditions like clubfoot and various hip conditions. The more I dealt with Steps, the more I realised what fantastic and important work they do through an amazing and easily accessible information service that helps so many parents out there, and really has become first port of call for a lot of parents who seek advice and support. I have to admit that I was very lucky to get a place with my 1st choice charity, considering they only had minimal places in comparison to the larger charities. So thanks to everyone at Steps!

As you would have seen from my target, I'm looking to raise £1500 at the least! for Steps. I am in a privileged position to say that I know every penny raised will go to a fantastic cause and ultimately help a lot of families all over. 

So here's my plea: 

"if you are in a position to, please donate to this brilliant charity, no donation is too small and it all counts!"
