When my mum passed away last year I decided I wanted to do something in her memory; that's a bit of a challenge but also fun.  So after a bit of discussion with some friends we opted for doing the Great Glen Way, not just in mum's memory but also in memory of Deb Cooke.  We're starting off in Fort William and to Inverness. I've decided to run it over 5 days (all 77 miles!), my Dad is going to cycle alongside me whilst my freinds Fiona Rice and Anne Murray will be canoeing from Fort William to Inverness along the canal, rivers and lochs.  We'll meet up in hostels at night to compare blisters and stories.  We're raising money for 2 charities, Cancer Research UK and Highland Hospice (see other Just Giving page http://www.justgiving.com/Catriona-Hendrie-Great-Glen-Madness).  If you'd like to sponsor our madness we'd really appreciate it!
