About 6 years ago my Dad Derek died from a fungal pneumonia as a consequence of Vasculitis. Its impossible to put into words experiencing losing someone so close... I really miss the old git! I am running the 2010 Edinburgh Marathon to raise as much money as possible for Vasculitis UK (SSVT) in memory of my Dad. Most people, I'm sure, are probably familier with justgiving. It is really easy to use and the money goes straight to the charity. SSVT do some incredible work.  Not only to they fund research into causes and treatments for vasculitis but they also provide support for those with different variants of the illness.  They provide information and also put different people in contact so no one needs to feel alone.  I understand that things are tight for alot of people at the moment but I would be so grateful if you would give whatever you can to a charity so close to my heart.
