Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In March I am running in an event called The Jurassic Coast Challenge which is 3 marathons in 3 days. That's 26.2 mile a day for 3 days. A total of 78.6 miles with and 13,000 feet of elevation. I know I am amazing... but not quite as amazing as the wonderful people at Naomi House!
Naomi House children’s hospice is a charity that provides support to children and young people with conditions that mean they are unlikely to live to become adults. Support includes respite care, end of life support, bereavement support and emergency hospice at home care.
The charity provides care to families living in communities across the seven counties of Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Surrey, and Wiltshire.
The children’s charity has two specialist units, Naomi House for children, and jacksplace for young people. Each unit is purpose built and provides an appropriate environment for each age group.
It costs around £4.5million a year to run the two units. So go on you can spare a couple of quid.
