We are radically advancing research to achieve a life free from epilepsy

Story

Spurred on by friends and the sad death of 17 Year old epilepsy sufferer, Richard Graham, a group of cyclists plan to cycle the Hadrian's Way cycle route to raise funds for Epilepsy Research UK. The cycle route is 174 miles stretching from Ravenglass on the West coast of England to South Shields on the East coast.

Some of us aren't very fit but instead of taking it steadily over a few days we have set ourselves the task of doing this ride in two days!

The people doing this ride are (in no particular order!):

Marc McGuirk, Ron Graham, Jamie Ogilvie, Andrea McAvoy, Jimmy Cumming, Carleen Broster and Guy Broster.

Please support us in this. Any donations are very welcome no matter how small (or large for that matter!)....everything counts.

We rode on the weekend of the 28/29th August.

Andrea crashed just before reaching Maryport and had to ride in the van for the rest of the journey nursing an injured hand and concussion.

Everyone else made it safely!

It will soon be time to plan our next ride!
