We provide specialist care to children with life-limiting illness

Story

Tandragee Golf Club Captain, Mr Hamilton Loney known as Hammy by many has selected Northern Ireland Children’s’ Hospice as his charity for the forthcoming year, 2015.  National prevalence for life-limiting conditions (LLC) in children and young people (aged 0-19 years) in Northern Ireland is approximately 25 per 10,000 with over 1300 individuals affected at any one time. High quality care and support are offered to these individuals and their families who have very complex needs by the Northern Ireland Children’s’ Hospice, the only service of its kind in Northern Ireland. This charity is very dear to Hammy's heart and was an obvious choice in memory of his late sister who touched many children’s lives during her lifetime.

As part of the funding raising effort for his chosen charity Hammy and his vice captain, Mr Richard Hylands have decided to shed a few pounds with a target weight loss of at least 1 stone by Captains Day, 20/06/2015 with weigh ins occurring fortnightly. There are many methods of donation open to individuals including NI Children’s Hospice charity boxes and sponsorship forms located at Tandragee Golf Club and the Just Giving Website, located at www.justgiving.com.
