Story
Hi all
So I did it!!! The weather was sunny and perfect for the run! Feeling a little stiff and tired now. Thank you all for donating and taking the time to read my pages. I'll pop a photo up soon as I decided to dress up as a cheerleader for the race!!

I initially entered for the Great South Run several months before the wedding so I would have a goal to achieve and to keep the wedding stress away. As the weeks have progressed training has been going well and I have now decided to run in the memory of my Uncle Brian who sadly passed away this year.
I have chosen St Peter's Hospice as my charity as they provided wonderful care and support to my uncle and family during a difficult time. St Peter’s Hospice is Bristol’s only adult hospice caring for local people with incurable illnesses. Their commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones.
The Hospice provides all of their care free of charge and the NHS contributes just 25% of annual running costs. For the rest they are totally reliant on the generosity of the public who support them through any number of different ways.
I would like to thank you in advance for reading this page and donating. Please remember even the smallest donations go a long way. I’ll be thinking of you all as I run/jog my way through the 10 mile course. I decided not to add a picture of my running style as I'm hoping it's improved since I last saw myself during a 10k!!!!
Thanks
Hannah
