Story
Hello there! Thank you for visiting this page
I am fundraising for Bristol Volunteers for Development Abroad, BVDA. They are a student led charity, registered number 1093476, which was started as a society within the University of Bristol 8 years ago, to encourage students to make a difference in developing countries by volunteering overseas.
In summer 2010, I will be participating in a project run by BVDA in Nepal. The project will be based in the village of Ilam, and we will be building class rooms for the local community. We also will be teaching in the village while we are out there. I am fundraising for Bristol Volunteers for Development Abroad, BVDA. They are a student led charity, registered number 1093476, which was started as a society within the University of Bristol 8 years ago, to encourage students to make a difference in developing countries by volunteering overseas. Being a registered charity with the university of Bristol, the BVDA is a great way of making a real difference to a community of a developing country.
In order for this to happen, I need to raise £700 for the project, none of the money raised goes to my personal costs. If you could help in any way, it will be greatly appreciated!
On Sunday May 10th I will be running the Bristol 10k and as many of you know i am a keen runner so i will have a target time of under 45 minutes, so there is even more of a challenge! It would be a great source of motivation if you could sponsor me and come along and support if you can!
