This year, for my 21st birthday, I do not want any gifts, instead I am donating money to Care for the Family as they do exactly what it says on the tin: 'care for the family'. This year has been difficult for everyone, but it has put extra pressure on families living in confined spaces or hundreds of miles apart, not to mention parents juggling work and home schooling. 

I am so grateful for my crazy family (especially my parents for creating an environment of hospitality and community) and for everything Care for the Family have done to help support us.
I wish every child could grow up in a loving home and know what it feels like to be loved and accepted. Care for the Family are a Christian charity that helps to strengthen families and support them through the tough times, whether that is through grief and loss, single parenting or just day to day life.
